His life after KVTC's intervention:
Joined the centre in 1995. Almost immediate positive response to the environment
Found his confidence & self-esteem by excelling in various vocational skills.

Irfan Ahmed
After KVTC's intervention:
We targeted her social skills & confidence as key factors to be improved first
With time, Zehra showed keen interest in Sports & Athletics activities & became one of the leading sports figures for Special Olympics Pakistan
1995 - Represented Pakistan in the USA as part of the Pakistan basketball team & won a Bronze medal
2007 - Represented Pakistan in the China in the World Games as part of the Pakistan Table Tennis team. She won 1 Gold medal & 1 Silver medal.
Successful job internships at British Council & Gul Ahmed Textiles Pvt. LTD. Currently working as assistant teacher in 3 skills: Grooming, Tailoring & Machine Embroidery.
Major issues before KVTC:

Condition worsened due to tragic death of father in a car accident
Intense behavioral problems created from an insecure environment at home that included financial problems
Was not showing any improvement after spending time at many SEN schools in Karachi

Saad Latif
After KVTC's intervention:
Joined KVTC in 2005. Initially hesitant to get involved in any acitivity because of his previous bad experiences at school
Through counselling, it took 3 months for him to start showing interest in vocational skills & other activities at the centre
Soon, it was discovered that he had great potential & a natural aptitude for ICT and academics more advanced than most other trainees at KVTC
Our advanced social integration program, The Rising Club, helped him truly realize his potential and improved his interpersonal skills
Within 3 years of joining KVTC, he was selected by HSBC Bank Middle East PLC for a full-time job as an Office Assistant, where he is employed currently.
Major issues before KVTC:

Enrolled in 7 different schools but did not respond positively to any environment
Very shy, insecure & hesitant personality. Unable to participate in any group activitiy & suffered from a very short attention span
Confidence further worsened when he saw his siblings progress through life, leaving him stuck in the same monotonous academic studies in other institutes.
