People with disabilities have the right to work, but they must be given the means to enable them to exercise that right. Vocational rehabilitation is the only way to help persons with disabilities, including intellectually disabled find and then to hold on to a job.
KVTC has a proven track record of 20 years of finding gainful employment for intellectually disabled people including

multi-national companies like HSBC, ICI Pakistan (1st Corporate Internship Program), and Attock Petroleum.

Intellectually Disabled people are the most marginalized & vulnerable segment of our society, particularly those coming from low income areas of Karachi where awareness & sensitivities towards them are generally very low, rendering them defenseless prey for abuse or worse.
